Yoda is a 2 months old kitten who was found in a rubbish dump, when he was only 2 weeks old. He weighed only 300 grams, so we bottle-fed him...
But in spite of that, he grew very little in a month and a half: he had coryza which weakened him a lot, then typhus which caused him diarrhoea, and again coryza...
Yoda arrived with a paw infection! Fortunately, we were able to treat it, to prevent it from necrosing and having to be amputated.
Blankets would provide a cozy, comfortable place for Yoda to recuperate after all his misadventures. He'd be warm and cozy, to get through the winter with peace of mind.
The volunteers of our association don't have the means to feed all the cats who rely on them. Times are hard for everyone, and the fundraising campaigns we have launched have not worked as well as before.
Without subsidies and with all the kittens that have arrived this season, we are in a bind!
